 About This Webinar

 Subject Matter

This is the second exempt organization webinar being conducted by YH Advisors, the Exempt Org Experts. The great majority of charitable organizations undertake some sort of fundraising activities, whether such entails the conducting of special events or targeted mail solicitation campaigns. Fundraising special events range from dinner galas, golf tournaments, and silent auctions to casino nights, poker tournaments, and raffles. Mail solicitation campaigns can involve professional fundraisers and could be directed into other states than the charity’s “home” state.

Fundraising special events and mail solicitation campaigns are currently subject to intense scrutiny by the Internal Revenue Service and the various state Attorneys General. That being said, it is essential that the exempt organization practitioner or executive be keenly aware of all the pertinent federal and state rules and regulations governing the conducting of fundraising activities by an exempt organization.

This webinar will be focused upon providing the exempt organization practitioner and exempt organization executive with guidance and valuable resources and tools to best ensure that they possess the requisite knowledge regarding the reporting and registering of their fundraising activities. There are no prerequisites and no advance preparation required for attending this webinar.

Cost

For those registering for this webinar prior to April 10, 2012, the cost is $139. For those registering after April 10, 2012, the cost is $159. Please see below if you plan to have multiple participants in the same location.
