Subject Matter

This is the fourth exempt organization webinar to be conducted by YH Advisors, the Exempt Org Experts. The compensatory practices of exempt organizations, specifically charitable organizations, probably receives more intense scrutiny than any other operational aspect. For any charitable organization that is compensating one of their insiders, it is essential that the applicable reasonable compensation documentation rules and regulations be heeded and rigorously followed.

Accordingly, this webinar will address many different compensation issues which are particularly relevant for exempt organizations to be cognizant of, including how best to avoid excess benefit transactions, how to satisfy the Section 4958 rebuttable presumption of reasonableness, the importance of implementing a formal expense reimbursement policy, the key compensation Form 990 reporting considerations and the essential aspects of conducting a compensation comparability analysis.

This webinar will be focused upon providing the exempt organization practitioner and exempt organization executive with guidance and valuable resources/tools to best ensure that they possess the requisite knowledge regarding the compensation rules and regulations most applicable to exempt organizations. There are no prerequisites and no advance preparation required for attending this webinar.

As with our prior webinars, this webinar will be conducted through GoToWebinar. As with our most recent webinar, we are offering webinar participants the opportunity to access the audio portion of this webinar either through their computers (VOIP) or via a telephone call-in number. A recording of this webinar on DVD will be available immediately after the conducting of the webinar if you are unable to attend the webinar at the scheduled time.


2.0 hours of CPE credit will be provided to all registered participants who attend the webinar, complete all of the required polling questions and complete/submit a webinar evaluation form. Only the registered participant who logs into the webinar, responds to the polling questions and completes and submits the evaluation form will receive CPE credit.  If CPE credit is needed for multiple participants in the same location, it may be  possible that such can be obtained for $69 per participant who desires a CPE certificate so long as the appropriate controls are internally implemented to monitor attendance (note: one registrant will be required to complete a full registration via GoToWebinar at the full price). Refunds Policy:

Program Cancellation Policy:
