California Nonprofit Integrity Act of 2004 “Cheat Sheet”
The California Nonprofit Integrity Act of 2004 imposes a number of important requirements on California §501(c)(3) organizations (churches, schools, and hospitals qualify for certain exceptions from these rules) if their annual gross receipts exceed a certain threshold amount. Some of these requirements include the preparation of audited financial statements, the creation of an Audit Committee and making certain documents available for public disclosure. More info
